On the topic of ‘medical meditations’, here’s one to promote liver health.
The liver has over 600 physiological functions, including filtering blood from the digestive tract, breaking down fats we ingest, and detoxing our bodies.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which posits that organs and glands can harbor emotional excess or repression, the liver is the organ where unresolved anger lives. All the more reasons to befriend our liver and treat it with respect, right?
